All Magic Play events will be held in the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina 333 West Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. This location is right next to the San Diego Convention Center. If you are facing the convention center the Marriott Marquis is the first building to the right. Magic events will be held in the Marina Ballrooms rooms 18&20. Marina ballrooms 18&20 are on the ground floor of the hotel convention center.
All registration is in person only and day of the event you wish to play in.
How to register. Just come in person, and during our hours of operations and we will register you for the event you want to play in.
Why not online registration? We have tried doing online registration in the past and it just hasn’t worked for this show. Typically events at SDCC do not do online registration. That’s why there are long lines for things like events and panels (but I wish they would). When we have used an online registration system show attendees frequently don’t arrive, don’t arrive on time and then it we spend so much time processing refunds that it delays the the events for everyone.
